Radisson Blu Lietuva Hotel is Expanding


The Radisson Blu Hotel Lietuva, which shines on the right bank of the Neris river in Vilnius, has announced plans to expand. Hotel property investors, the Norwegian real estate development company Linstow AS, the Rezidor Hotel Group and Merko Statyba announced that the new project will add an additional tower to transform the hotel into a complex of two buildings. With the new eight storey building, the total area of the hotel premises will grow to 39,500 square metres.


The new hotel building will open its doors in May 2018, offering an additional 165 new rooms. With a total of 456 rooms, the Radisson Blu Hotel Lietuva will consolidate its position as the largest hotel in Vilnius in terms of rooms.

The new upscale business class hotel building will consist of eight floors. The first floor will offer retail units, the second and third floors will have office spaces for lease, and the hotel will take up the remaining five floors. The building will offer underground parking and direct access to the existing building.


Since its was reopening in 2013, the hotel has proven its place in the hospitality market and has been an important contributor to the development of the meetings industry in Vilnius.


In addition to its 291 existing rooms, the hotel boasts many facilities including a large modern conference centre with 17 multifunctional rooms. The conference centre can accommodate up to 1,200 people with the largest room able to fit in 600 people. Skybar is Located on the hotel’s 22nd floor, the Skybar cocktail bar is the highest in Vilnius, and offers an exceptional meetings and events room with thrilling views of the Old Town.
